daily — Scripture Readings Perhaps you haven’t yet embarked on our community scripture way, or maybe you started, but have fallen off in the readings. There’s no better time than right now to begin (again). The readings during Lent are in the purple boxes in the csw. If you need a copy, there are some on the welcome pulpit in the lobby of the church building, or click here. Take just a few moments at some point each day to read these scripture passages and reflect, journal, or do whatever else it may be that helps you be formed by and retain scripture. monday — Individual Prayer (Quincy) On Mondays, there is an opportunity for anyone to pray in Quincy early in the morning between 7:45-8:30 AM. Drop in and pray silently as you can in the Angell Chapel on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College, 23 East Elm Ave., Quincy, MA 02170. tuesday — Fasting On Tuesdays, choose something in your life that you rely on, and give it up to God, replacing it with a spiritually formational practice (prayer, contemplation, scripture reading, meditation, etc.) wednesday — Corporate Prayer (Hingham) On Wednesday afternoons at 2:00, join us for corporate prayer in the Newell Gathering Room. thursday — Bible Study in Ezekiel On Thursday evenings, Pastor Jeremy invites you to come and study the book of Ezekiel more in depth. Many of our daily readings from the csw are from Ezekiel during Lent. The study begins at 7:00. friday — Acknowledgement Another practice of the Lenten Season is to remember our humanness. As Christ taught us to pray, we should pray daily that our sins and trespasses be forgiven. Take time on Fridays to consider where you have been or may be off-course from living like Christ.
